I have been a visual artist as long as I can remember. I received a BFA from The Center for Creative Studies in Detroit and have since been active in the art communities in my home state of Michigan and, for the past 10 years, New York City. I continue to create and exhibit work in addition to my holistic health practice and find artmaking to be a powerful tool for healing and finding balance in my life.
My work deals with themes of personal growth and exploration as well as the humor of everyday life. My latest body of work has evolved from my fascination with words and language. I create collages based on my favorite popular idioms. I hope they will inspire others to “stop and smell the roses” or just exclaim “holy moley!”
If you would like to purchase an original framed piece or an archival quality print of any of the idioms, please contact me by email.
